POR QUE N\u00c3O OS DOIS?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>O ferro fundido nodular austemperado, identificado pela sigla ADI (do ingl\u00eas&nbsp;<em>austempered ductile iron<\/em>) consiste em uma classe de materiais que vem cada vez mais sendo explorada pelos projetistas e engenheiros, em face da excelente e n\u00e3o usual combina\u00e7\u00e3o entre resist\u00eancia mec\u00e2nica e tenacidade que apresentam. A boa rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre algumas propriedades antag\u00f4nicas, por exemplo, resist\u00eancia \u00e0 tra\u00e7\u00e3o e alongamento, vem abrindo caminhos para esses materiais em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es historicamente atendidas por componentes confeccionados com materiais endurecidos, forjados ou soldados, ferrosos ou n\u00e3o, com benef\u00edcios que incluem ainda uma significativa redu\u00e7\u00e3o de peso do componente e excelente resist\u00eancia ao desgaste e \u00e0 fadiga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Com seus registros iniciais de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o comercial datados do in\u00edcio da d\u00e9cada de 70, foi nas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas que os ADI ganharam mais espa\u00e7o nas mais diversas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es industriais, destacando-se as relacionadas ao segmento automotivo, que continuamente dispende esfor\u00e7os e recursos na busca por materiais mais leves e que proporcionem maior efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica, como por exemplo na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de virabrequins, engrenagens, cubos de roda, componentes de suspens\u00e3o, entre outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Para se entender os motivos pelos quais esses materiais apresentam as caracter\u00edsticas &nbsp;&nbsp;percebidas devemos olhar com mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o para sua morfologia microestrutural.&nbsp; Ao contr\u00e1rio do que se normalmente observa em materiais submetidos ao tratamento de aust\u00eampera, onde uma microestrutura majoritariamente bain\u00edtica \u00e9 evidenciada, nos materiais ADI observa-se uma microestrutura denominada ausferrita, composta essencialmente de ferrita acicular e de austenita estabilizada com alto carbono, al\u00e9m dos sempre presentes n\u00f3dulos de grafita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Considerando o atendimento a premissas relacionadas ao processo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o do fundido bruto envolvendo a minimiza\u00e7\u00e3o de defeitos na matriz, um grau m\u00ednimo de nodulariza\u00e7\u00e3o e a dispers\u00e3o dos n\u00f3dulos de grafita, a ausferrita pode ser obtida em um intervalo de tempo espec\u00edfico denominado janela de processo, dentro do patamar isot\u00e9rmico da aust\u00eampera, conforme podemos observar na figura 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"attachment_1210\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hef-durferrit.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/DqiDKnk.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1210\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figura 1 \u2013 Est\u00e1gios da aust\u00eampera<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>De uma forma b\u00e1sica, podemos descrever o tratamento de aust\u00eampera representado na figura 1 da seguinte maneira:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Est\u00e1gio 1<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Aquecimento e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do material em temperatura de austenitiza\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 a completa homogeneiza\u00e7\u00e3o, normalmente entre 830\u00ba e 950\u00baC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Est\u00e1gio 2<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Resfriamento r\u00e1pido, usualmente realizado em banhos de sais fundidos, de forma a evitar a decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o da austenita em perlita, at\u00e9 uma temperatura acima da temperatura de in\u00edcio da transforma\u00e7\u00e3o martens\u00edtica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Est\u00e1gio 3<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Manuten\u00e7\u00e3o em temperatura de aust\u00eampera, normalmente entre 230\u00baC e 400\u00baC. Esse est\u00e1gio se divide em duas etapas, sendo que a primeira consiste na nuclea\u00e7\u00e3o de plaquetas de ferrita acicular nas interfaces grafita\/austenita e nos contornos de gr\u00e3o, separadas por camadas de austenita estabilizada com o carbono fornecido pela ferrita, e a segunda onde ocorre a decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o da austenita enriquecida em ferrita acicular e carbonetos, estrutura essa denominada bainita. Segue-se ao fim com um resfriamento ao ar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A t\u00e3o desejada microestrutura ausferr\u00edtica, respons\u00e1vel por conferir aos ferros fundidos nodulares as propriedades f\u00edsicas singulares, \u00e9 formada em um intervalo de tempo localizado no Est\u00e1gio 3, entre o fim da etapa 1 \u2013 Nuclea\u00e7\u00e3o de plaquetas ferr\u00edticas e o in\u00edcio da etapa 2 \u2013 In\u00edcio da forma\u00e7\u00e3o da bainita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At HEF, innovation is at the heart of our development strategy.
