Photonics

Technologies related to photonics allow for precise control of the interaction between light and matter in terms of emission, detection, absorption, transmission, amplification, analysis, and more.
Photonics is present in countless devices, such as optical instruments, optical fibers, touch-sensitive electronic displays, laser printing systems, autonomous vehicle sensors, and others.
